Youth in Action (2007-2013) is the programme the European Union has set up for young people. It aims to inspire a sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union's future. It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU's border, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people regardless of their educational, social and cultural backgrounds. It also helps people working in the youth sector develop skills and establish contacts necessary to enhance their work. The Youth in Action programme is supported by funds from the Joint International Unit,Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS)/Department for Education, and the European Commission (DG Education and Culture).

Kensington and Chelsea Social Council (Social Council) works to support locally focused voluntary and community organisations serving local residents. The K & C Social Council aims to develop a strong local sector voice to influence decision makers and encourage sector campaigning and lobbying to improve the quality of residents of Kensington and Chelsea. Kensington and Chelsea Social Council is a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and acts as an umbrella body for voluntary and community organisations in Kensington and Chelsea.

YMCA England is a national Christian charity and a registered social landlord committed to helping young people in need, no matter what their race, sex, disability, sexuality or religion. Their housing schemes around the country are managed by local YMCAs and provide safe, secure and affordable accommodation for young people. Their aim is to help residents get the skills they need to live independently.
